Abby Hopkins
Abby graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with a Bachelor of Journalism and a certificate in Social Entrepreneurships & Nonprofits. She has interned for the Texas Baptist Hunger Offering, Austin Woman Magazine and Dressember Foundation in communications and editorial roles, and has worked for Moody College of Communication as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant.
Chloe Rice
Chloe is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in MIS and a minor in Journalism. She works for the McCombs Information, Risk, and Operations Management department as a Teaching Assistant and coaches youth soccer in her free time. Chloe will be interning for Dell Technologies in the Summer of 2020 in a Digital Accessibility role, and hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of technology and communication upon graduating.
Christian McDonald
Christian McDonald is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Journalism, with a focus on data journalism and programming. His most recent professional position was data and online projects editor at the Austin American-Statesman. He also worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and at Cox publications in suburban Phoenix and Longview, Texas.
